Partner school is good but Bell dont seem do much except recruit (I suppose a lot of work with the high turnover) and collect fees. No “added value” and to be honest expected a lot more from an English company. Last agent was Thai and they were better overall despite a few misunderstandings
the BCC expererience was interesting. i was in their at the beginning, covering. the reasons why it all went pair-shaped are many. some of the blame can no doubt be laid at the foot of bell, but i can tell you the people at BCC, even at the beginning, were a BIG part of the problem.
as to added value – bell is largely just the recruiting agent, the teachers are all employed by the schools. but while there i was given several opportunities such as teaching outside courses (thai teachers and military in my case) and there were three bell conferences (admittedly spaced out over five years).
the director always treated well.
What a pity I’ve never noticed this site before!
The Project Coordinator at this school was so good that he warranted his own forum – started by ex-teachers – to discuss their own experiences with him – and they were many. Not one teacher had a good word about him. I mean, the fellow was dysfunctional and used to do his lolly at individual teachers in full earshot of all the teachers. He was a complete dill.
Of course, some might say, how dreadfully unfair to start a chat forum about the poor fellow, however, how dreadfully unfair of the fellow in question it was to provoke such a response from his teachers. He may have left recently.
But Bell Thailand is blessed with more than one complete dill, not the least of whom is the Regional Director – nobody knows what he does all day! You’d think Bell UK would be interested in some budgetary savings.
Tell me what you're thinking...
