A recession is a perfect time to go back to school and get more training. This is why many people are choosing to go back to the school and get more training in the form of Online Degrees.

Interesting Way To Get To Your TEFL Destination

I have always wanted to take a cruise. I think it would be a fun thing to go to my next teaching destination on a cruise. Ok, I know it sounds kind of crazy, but it’s actually a pretty cool way to get from one place to another. I remember that a school in Honduras was offering free transportation down to Honduras via container ship to anyone wanting to teach at their school. Alas, I never did take them up on that offer so I am still waiting for a TEFL cruise destination.

Quality In Adverts

I love hearing about all the benefits that new teachers are offered in their contract. Most talk about salary and benefits, but often times the ones in China will talk about the different furniture in the free apartments that they provide. Not surprisingly, none of them really talk about the quality of bed. I’d love to see a school providing their teachers with a sleep number bed.

Being An Independent TEFL Teacher

I saw a comment the other day about teachers who have a tough adjusting to life in another country. It’s true that you do have to be at least a little independent to be a TEFL teacher. This means that you need to be able to change your own light bulbs. It also means that you need to be able to cope with things that come your way without getting freaked out.
