Interesting People Abroad
You meet a lot of interesting people when you live abroad. Sometimes you believe them, sometimes you don’t. One example is a guy I know who says he used to fix Ferraris. He says that if he had the right Ferrari parts, he can fix anything on a Ferrari. At first I doubted some of what he said, but over time I came to really see that he wasn’t just whistling Dixie. He knew what he was doing.
Now Is The Time
I am anxious to get out of the US. Sure there are things I will miss like ads for Mesothelioma lawyers and Taco Bell tacos, but there are things that I won’t miss and that is the lack of can do attitude that I see so often around me. Look people, we can change things for the better and that change starts in our own lives. Now is the time to do it, but unfortunately people just seem to whine…
Lost In The Tiles
One of the things I really loved about houses that I lived in abroad was the extensive use of tiles in flooring. I just loved the feel of the tiles underneath my feet. They were easy to keep clean and with all of the designs available, it seemed like every floor was a unique work of almost art. It was really cool seeing all of the different tile floors and believe it or not, I actually took a lot of pictures of these floors. Unfortunately, I lost more of them. Kind of sad, really, but a story of being abroad.
Important Accessory
When it comes to having travel accessories for electronic devices, there is one choice that stands out. That’s the Bluetooth headset. Why such a good choice? Easy, a good one can be used with your mobile phone as well as your Ipod and netbook. One easy to use headset takes care of all of your needs. That’s a bonus when you are traveling and don’t want to carry along too many accessories. Traveling light is imperative the more traveling that you do.
Must Have For The Home
One of the nicest things to look for in a home when you go abroad is a ceiling fan. When it comes to moving air around a room ceiling fans are one of the best ways. They can cool an entire room and turn a hot room into a comfortable room. They also make your air conditioner work more efficiently. All in all, you should make sure you have one in your new home.
