I know this blog is about travel and teaching abroad, but sometimes I do like to talk about domestic tourism. Either for teachers coming back home for a break or people just interested in new places to vacation. One of the most popular place for people to vacation is Orlando. If you are interested in Orlando vacations then you are not alone. Many people have chosen Orlando vacations as a way to experience Disneyland, Universal Studios and much, much more. Taking Jewelry Abroad?

A question that often gets asked is whether or not to take jewelry along with you when you go and teach abroad. I think it’s a valid concern. It might be a better idea to keep it back home with a trusted loved life. You can start a new jewelry collection abroad that you can take home with you when you go back to the US and you don’t risk losing something extremely important to you.

One of the things I like about being in the US is being able to take advantage of a great sale. You can easily shop online and have items sent to you effortlessly and with ease, totally unlike shopping abroad where you need to worry about customs and duties and always end up paying more for electronics. I really appreciate being able to shop at buy.com and find great deals on things that make travel much better.

Traveling is one of the fringe benefits of working as a TEFL teachers. One of the things I prize the most is the ability to take untold numbers of pictures with my digital camera to share with friends and family members back home.
