If you aren’t involved in TEFL yet and are just considering going abroad to teach English, you may be a little scared about what to expect in a TEFL class. Luckily, I found a video that helps you out. It a practice TEFL class by a TEFL trainee in Mexico City. It’s a fairly typical class of Mexican adult students.
So how do you think you could do? Could you teach in front a class like this? Believe it or not, with proper TEFL teacher training or some actual teaching English experience, you could perform as good, if not better, than the trainee in the video. It’s really up to you to make the best possible learning experience for your students.

TEFL Teachers have a good sense of humor so it was not a surprise to see this really funny video from a guy who gave up his job and life in the US to go and live in Thailand. Like many new TEFL teachers, he fell into the career of teaching English in a foreign country. Join him as he looks for TEFL jobs in three different locations. It’s very funny, but it doesn’t quit seem true. He actually doesn’t take any the jobs because he has too much pride.
Custom Writing Services

I remember when I was in university, we’d always try to find someone who was good at writing to help us write our academic essays. It was ok to spend a little money and then not have to do the essays ourselves. Unfortunately, sometimes we would find that the essays were mostly the same and we would have to do rewrites at the last minute. Not fun. As an aside, when I was teaching in Thailand, I read so many bad essays, I wish they would have gotten someone to help, but no such luck.
Anyways, there is a solution to these problems nowadays. They’re called essays online. Basically, you buy papers online. I know some people have a negative attitude about it, but here’s what I think. So many teachers take the easy way out and just assign an essay. What’s wrong with the student taking the easy way out?
Right or wrong aside, if you are going to buy an essay online, it’s good to go with a quality custom writing service like Custom-Writing.org. They provide essays from quality writers who research the topic fully and ensure that the writing fits the class work and class level. Most importantly, the essays are screened for possible plagiarism before they are sent back to you. That way you don’t appear as though you are a Vice Presidential candidate.
What are you waiting for? I wish I could go back in time and use them. I would have had a lot more fun at college.
Financial Concerns For TEFL Teachers

There are a lot of issues facing TEFL teachers today. I think one of the biggest problems is also one that isn’t talked about and that is the effect of a bad US economy on TEFL teachers around the world. I don’t think enough teachers are considering the possible impact or fallout of the US economy on their own TEFL teaching careers.
Most language institutes do not have deep pockets and an economic downturn could cost many of them their students. That means that teachers will be laid off. This is kind of bleak because there might not be new jobs for them to go into and they may have to come to the states and dying job market. If you are in TEFL or are thinking about it, now is the time to be concerned with your finances.

Career education is important for returning teachers after being abroad. Unfortunately, it’s tough to get a job teaching in the US after a long sojourn abroad so many TEFL teachers have decided to look for other type of work and some have opted to undergo training in a new career area. The medical field is a popular new career area for former teachers who enjoy helping others and training, such as medical assistant training, can get them into the working world very quickly.
The medical world is a career area even more diverse than the TEFL profession they have left behind. There are so many different open doors in the profession and there is more opportunity than ever to get ahead and really make a difference in the lives of the people you have helped. I know a couple of teachers who have went back into the medical field after teaching abroad and they are very happy with their choices.
One friend decided to become an ultrasound technician. He was able to look through various ultrasound schools and find one that worked out well for him. With the quality training behind him, he was able to get a high paying job and get ahead. The skills he learned will be able to do him good, even if he decides to go abroad again. In fact, he can come back anytime and get a great job as an ultrasound technician.
Education is important. It really doesn’t matter what position or career field you go back in, you just need to find a quality position in a career you’d love to have. That’s why Career-Education.net has a large number of programs that can help you get ahead. I loved looking through their huge number of programs on offer. They have some great training ideas in professions that are in demand right now. That’s a bonus with the economy weakening like it is.
