I worked at PSU School of Medicine, Office of International Relations for more than 2 years. Awesome job. Totally professional place--for Thailand at any rate. I also rejected plenty of applications on behalf of my employer. They just weren't good enough to work there. I taught doctors and scientists, as well as other medical professionals traveling abroad on work fellowships. The majority of applications were under qualified or not related to medicine in a rigorous or credible way. The office manager is the sweetest Thai person. Totally works on your behalf. Excellent boss, lots of flexibility, great pay for the region. All I can think is that someone is mixing up PSU School of Medicine with another department or region. I'm talking about Hat Yai only, here. They are picky as they should be.

PSU School of Medicine offered me a job . . . withdrew it, recontacted me, and then withdrew the offer a second time. Unprofessional bunch, in my opinion
