Really... number 1 recruiter in Thailand??? LOL.

JP Education has a very poor reputation in Thailand amongst teachers. They will hire teachers illegally (as stated above - no degree=no work permit=illegal). They DO have contracts with a lot of schools, but thats mostly because they are inexpensive and this is reflected by the shoddy office, below average salaries and packages and poor organization.

I've have tried to come back to you on this web site many times, but each time when I tried to put a respons I'll got cutt off, probely becuse what I tried to get a back on was to long message, tgrying to explain everything. OK , never mind, this time I try with a short reply,.

You complain that because our English in our ads are not 100 procent not correct grammar, is not legit?. I dare not to comment and really I think that clame is a stupid clame to make, whats the connection between us , our office using a none 100 procent not correctt English to become not legit??

Further, the reson why we haven't come back to you might be many, but as we make a business of connecting forigners and thai schools, of course, most likely, your application to us did not follow the described way how to apply at that time. your application was not satisfied for the head of english.

And as all the ad stake we only answer the shortlisted.

As our office is open Monday-Friday 09.00-16.00 and as well in most ad you have a mobile number to contact out side office hours. You as well has to make an effort to call us, for informations.

We do claime that we are the number one recruiter in Thailand, not only in placing teachers as well being there for you (if you are on a contact). So, calling out loud, give us a feed back, we are not afraid to call us the number one recruiter in Thailand, sticking our heads out, ready for anyone to challange our call, our mission.

JP Education owner:

I have read some of your adverts. I will tell you that it is important to use properly correct English in your adverts becuase it gives credence to what is stated in your job offers. Many people may write off your jobs based on this fact as they may think it is illegitimate. My next point is that I have made some inquiries regarding your positions which require specific information. All I have ever received are automated responses. This leads one to ask the previous question, "Is it legit?"

One more thing about them, I was told, and it states in my contract, that they will assist you in all matters regarding visas and work permits. So far, that hasn't happened and to be honest, I'm not 100% sure if it ever will. If you do sign a contract with them without a Bachelor's Degree, you can expect the same sort of thing. Also, they deducted money from my salary when I had to do a visa run, which I think is really unfair. If they don't get the neccessary paperwork for you to work here, how can they deduct money from you when you go to get a new visa? Without it, you can't continue to work for them anyway, so it would seem that it's in their own best interest to pay you while you're off on a visa run, right? Also, you don't get paid during any holidays if you're working on an hourly basis. So if you're considering signing with them, make sure you are on a monthly salary and ask about pay during the holidays because it seems that there are many holidays here and you could wind up only getting paid for 9 months or so, even though your contract might say one year.

I have also done some work for them recently, although it was only for a couple of months. The work was what they said it would be, I was paid on time and the amount they quoted was what I received. I do agree with bangkok guy though, zero response to requests, emails, voice mails, etc. The owner is from Sweden, so of course his English might not be that great, but I didn't expect it to be. He seems like a nice enough guy. The office is a bit of a hole, most of the staff speak little or no English at all, they really need to get their act together as far as administration and organization is concerned, big time.....
