I'd stay far, far, far away from this school. They have threatened this site through the Thai MICT and have demanded that comments here be removed. No way! A school that deals like that is one that no one in his right mind should work for.

I worked here and had a fantsatic time. Very friendly staff, wonderful children and I had no problems with the management, including the head. If you are a hardworking, competent, confident teacher who has excellent references to back you up and you continue to perform to the high standards that are expected in the UK, then you have nothing to worry about. Teaching in international schools should not be undertaken merely because it is deemed to be an easier ride than in the UK.

For a very competitive alternative to Rasami and following a full and proper British Foundation Stage Curriculum, boasting a wealth of facilities , resources, play equipment etc please check out British Early Years Centre , Saphan Kwai. Walking distance from BTS and a safe, shaded and secure environment. I used to work at Rasami and as true as some of these posts are, I wasnt going to post on this site. However since the owner decided to sue me for 160,000 baht for leaving , I thought it only fair. Please come and check out our wonderful school.

So they are advertising for teachers again mid academic year at that smelly little house they dare call a school. Management cover up their inadequacies by bullying mainly young staff who are living the dream without friends and family which is an absolute disgrace. The porridge eater is so despised and ridiclued throughout Bangkok it is pitiful.

* Here is my report that Pim finds distasteful; note that Chiangmai is the Thai city where the fbi/cia assaulted & tormented me for three months with the complete assistance of the Thai police and the Thai Royal Police [I believe that the king should reside along the banks of the sewer rivers that flow in impoverished areas throughout the Thai kingdom, including in Bangkok; and that the filth of the diseased ridden open sewers mirrors the same toxic poison that is the homicidal arrogance of Thailand's ruling elite]:

The Thai government is under the firm control of the homicidal cia; the people there know it and they are ready to stop the Royal thugs in power. Then, as Thailand falls, China picks up the pieces in all Asia, including Taiwan & **Korea. Even Japan will reel as China turns the tables. The sea of Japan becomes the sea of China; and the American presence in that part of the globe becomes a bad dream to all who live through the continuing turmoil. Finally,as is expected the failed and murderous leadership of usa brings suffering and death around the globe.

Until they get rid of the head this place will continue its slide downhill. He is an egomaniacal bully who has driven every single teacher away from this school over the years: no-one stays after their 2 year contract is up. This is not good for the kids since staff continuity is much better for them.

Yes, it does smell a bit there. I too worked there for a while and it was definitely smelly on more than one occasion. People who do not like smelly places should avoid working at Rasami International School and find a school which smells nice. I think smelly schools do have higher turnovers than ones that smell OK. which explains why the only staff who ever stay are the real stinky ones - the Head and his assistant!

I worked there for a short while and it was OK, apart from being more than a bit smelly. Some days it got right up my nose, it did, and it is something I will remember for some time to come. Don't go there unless you like smelly places. Things like that can have a lasting impact, with a kind of post bad smell syndrome affecting more people than you may think. It affects children too, so think twice before sending your offspring there, unless they are used to smelly places.
